The online double-conversion MegaFlex DPA UPS provides premium power protection for critical infrastructure with capacities ranging from 250 kW to 1,500 kW.
This modular UPS is specifically designed for high-density computing environments, including private and public enterprise facilities, colocation and hosting data centers, cloud service providers and telecommunications applications.
The MegaFlex DPA UPS is built on ABB’s Decentralized Parallel Architecture (DPA™), where each power module operates as an independent UPS containing all critical functional components required for autonomous operation.
This architecture delivers full redundancy and fault tolerance, resulting in system reliability and availability that surpass conventional modular UPS designs.

Maintenance made easy
The modular design of the MegaFlex DPA UPS has been engineered to simplify maintenance while reducing the likelihood of human error.
Module cabinets can be transported easily and inserted directly into the UPS frame using integrated wheels.
Docking connectors eliminate the risk of cabling errors during installation, while front and rear cable access points within the IP20-protected cabinet provide safe and convenient power connections.
The cooling fan assembly is mounted on a pull-out drawer for easy servicing and includes integrated failure detection and automatic speed regulation.
Optimized efficiency
In energy-intensive facilities, even small efficiency gains can generate substantial cost savings and reduce CO₂ emissions.
The MegaFlex DPA UPS combines industry-leading efficiency with a highly compact footprint.
- VFI double-conversion efficiency of up to 97.4%
- VFD ECO mode efficiency of up to 99.4%
- Up to 45% footprint reduction through ultra-high power density (kW/m²)
